Exploring Leadership Potential (ELP) Workshop – November 2024

The November cohort of the Exploring Leadership Potential (ELP) Workshop was a transformative experience, bringing together mid-level leaders from academia to enhance their leadership skills and strategies.

 

Held at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Kengeri Campus, the workshop featured interactive sessions led by expert facilitators focusing on themes like strategic planning, emotional wellness, and fostering trust and engagement within academic institutions.

Workshop 1 

The Leadership Institute organized its first internal leadership development workshop on November 3rd & 4th, 2023. Key speakers were Dr Tony Sam George and Mr Clifford Mohan Pai. 

Participants included HOD's and Coordinators across various departments of Christ (Deemed to be University)

The Leadership Institute organized its second internal leadership development workshop on November 24th & 25th, 2023. Key speakers were Dr Tony Sam George and Mr Clifford Mohan Pai.

Workshop 5

Held on 2nd and 3rd of February, tailored for the visionary leaders at Christ University - the Deans and Heads of various Departments came together for a deep dive into crucial topics:

1️⃣ Organizational Culture: Exploring the foundations and impact of a strong organizational culture, fostering collaboration and growth.
2️⃣ Being Future Ready: Navigating the dynamic landscape of education, equipping our leaders with the tools to stay ahead in an ever-evolving world.
3️⃣ Navigating the Dual Role: Balancing the academic and administrative realms - a key challenge that our leaders actively addressed and strategized for.

The vibrant discussions and shared insights during the workshop truly reflected the commitment of Christ University Higher Education Leadership Institute to empower academic leaders. 🎓💡

Our speakers Dr Fr Jose C C, Clifford Mohan Pai GPHR, PCC, Anil Joseph Pinto, Tony Sam George, Krishna M C's expertise added immense value, and to all participants for contributing to the rich dialogue 

Workshop 6

17th and 18th February at Christ (Deemed to be University), which brought together esteemed leaders from the Christ (Deemed to be University), occupying various pivotal roles within the university.

Day 1 Symposium:

"Developing a Sentient Organization and HR Practices" by Clifford Mohan Pai GPHR, PCC : A deep dive into cultivating organizational awareness and progressive human resource practices, laying the foundation for a responsive and forward-thinking institution.

"Project 2030" by Joseph Varghese Kureethara: A visionary presentation outlining "Project 2030," setting the trajectory for the future of education at Christ University.

Learnings from Past Workshops by Tony Sam George: An insightful session which shared valuable takeaways from previous Leadership Institute workshops with Deans and HODs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Day 2 Symposium:

"Four Focus Areas of the Strategic Plan" by Dr Fr Jose C C: This session delved into the strategic framework, identifying and elaborating on the four key focus areas that will shape the trajectory of the university.

"Identity and Branding" by Harish Bijoor: An illuminating discourse on the significance of institutional identity and branding, providing strategic insights for positioning Christ University and emphasizing the importance of a strong institutional identity.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all the participants for their active engagement, thoughtful contributions, and commitment to advancing the standards of higher education leadership at Christ University.

Workshop 7 

 On March14th, 2024 by Christ University Higher Education Leadership Institute! 🌟

This transformative event brought together leaders from various study centers and administration offices of Christ University, fostering collaboration, learning, and growth. Here's a glimpse into the enriching programme:

1. Panel Discussion: "My Role in the Next Growth Curve of the University" convened distinguished luminaries including Vice Chancellor Dr Fr Jose C C, Registrar Anil Joseph Pinto, Dean of Social Sciences (Bannerghatta Campus) Jyothi Kumar, and expertly moderated by Personnel Officer Georgy Kurien.

2. Concurrent Sessions: Participants immersed themselves in focused sessions, tackling pivotal subjects crucial for organizational advancement:

"Being Future Ready - Being Relevant" by Clifford Mohan Pai GPHR, PCC
"Managing Stakeholder Relationships" by Krishna M C
"Reframing Leadership" by Tony Sam George
"Navigating Change" by Sathiyaseelan B, Ph.D.

3. Presentation on Research Findings: Dr. Theresa Nithila Vincent and Victor P. presented insightful findings gleaned from a comprehensive study conducted on the centers and offices of Christ University, Bangalore

4. Team Building Activities: Thomas TV and John Paul Raj V orchestrated interactive activities and fun games designed to underscore the significance of cohesive teamwork and collaboration in organizational success.

5. Closing Session: "Healing Relationships" facilitated by Viju Painadath Fr. underscored the paramount importance of nurturing positive workplace relationships for fostering a conducive and thriving organizational culture.

This workshop served as a testament to the unwavering commitment and fervor exhibited by all participants, underscoring our collective dedication towards the advancement of leadership excellence within Christ University.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our esteemed speakers, proficient moderators, diligent organizers, and all stakeholders whose contributions were instrumental in orchestrating this resounding success.
